Consumed over three days. Disgorged in October 2020 at 4.3 g/L dosage. What was green apple a few years ago has morphed into a pleasurable yellow apple. Stone fruit, pineapple, and the slightest touch of mango and ginger. Not overly complex, but quite pleasurable nonetheless. The extra brut style paired masterfully with charcuterie and fresh baked ciabatta.

Light salmon in color. Nose of lemon curd, strawberry, white peach, and a hint of brioche. Smooth with slight crispness and tartness that lingers. Flavors of watermelon and candied lemon.

See my note from 4/22/21. Another year has mellowed some of the green apple candy notes and ripe Yellow Delicious apple notes are more central. Bursting with fine bubbles and nice acidity.

Similar tasting notes to the previous notes. I noticed a bit more cut from the nice acidity this time. Paired with sushi. Has the bright acidity to cut through the vinegar in the rice, and aromatic qualities to stand up to the fish without overpowering the delicate fish. Like I mentioned the last time, this is a very good friendly wine, standing up to a variety of dishes.

Pale straw, deeper color than the 2015 Mousse Fils Special Club we had side by side. Tight bubbles. Nose of creamy lees, brioche, lemon meringue, red fruits. On the palate more creamy goodness, followed by fruit core of lemon and tree fruits. Clean, bright finish. Medium alcohol, medium body, medium acidity. This wine has a lot of finesse, with a good mouthfeel and acid structure. This is a food friendly wine, but good on its own as well. It’s an …

Wow, incredibly vibrant from the get go with super balanced acidity. Great strength on the nose with summer flowers and gradually opening up to some light brioche. Crisp/crunchy mouthfeel with a little marzipan, orange peel and almonds. Very good.

Light bodied, great effervescence. Peaches, mild lemon juice, green Jolly Ranchers. Very clean and focused acidity. Cut through a variety of savory and rich foods.

Deep copper pink in color. Really pretty! Caramel, yeast, strawberry, cranberry, and a bit of rose on the nose. Caramel on first entry, full mouthfeel, and finishes with green apple of increasing tartness.

Lovely fruit notes, slightly large bubbles but good character. Not much breadiness or funk, but good balance of fruit, acidity and pop. Generally good and enjoyable

Revisiting and old friend been a bit since we have visited. Color soft subtle pink like farm raised salmon. Nose is a bouquet of nutty yeast, ripe red fruits. On the palette wonderful balance of flavors acid fruit and nuttiness, really enjoyed kicked off a party with this it was real popular, will seek out and keep a few bottles stashed.

Dinner at our house with Rob and Molly. This is a go-to for us, had as an aperitif. Prior notes: "Bright pink/salmon color. Palate shows orchard fruits, crushed strawberries, bright raspberry, yeast and brioche. Crisp mouthfeel, fresh and vibrant wine..." The group commented on the great combination of the red fruit and dry sparkler mouthfeel. Really refreshing wine

Salmon color to the wine. yeast/baked bread, raspberries and strawberry cream. Runs a nice balance between being crisp and full on the palate, with the flavor mirroring the nose. Schramsberg is hands down the best American Sparkler out there.

Tight, minerally personality. Stone fruit, raspberry, and orange creamsicle aromas show a wisp of vanilla. The mouth is tensile and vibrant, complex and structured, with pin point crispness, fluffy foam, and a small, active bead. Wet stones on the long finish. Good intensity, persistence, and length. This is a serious sparkler.

Bright, fresh, crisp. Apples, cherry, citrus, tiny bit of yeast, high carbonation. Beautiful pink color. Easily lasted into day 2, in the fridge with a wine cork in the bottle. Maybe 20% less carbonation but no decline in flavor or body. Really solid and a nice value.

Rose sparking at this price with this quality is hard to come by, lots of strawberry, cherry, raspberries and some toast, similar palate which is fresh with an active mousse and moderate finish

A little acidic at first but very enjoyable. We ended up resealing the bottle and finishing the next day. It retained its carbonation and was really quite nicer on day 2.
