Vanilla wood, refined, quite ripe fruit but not that very interesting.

The 2020 vintage UGCB tasting in Amsterdam 03/06/2023 (Amsterdam) : Some cherries, some cream, a friendly midtaste with a nice concentration, and firm tannins (at the moment) in a balanced aftertaste.

Der Gaumen ist saftig, kräftig, mit viel Struktur, ausgezeichnete Gerbstoffe, frische Säure, die Frucht ist knackig, der Alkohol perfekt verpackt, alles ist an seinem Platz. This is the best vintage of Petit Village I have tasted in ages. The wine is a blend of 60% Merlot, 32 Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon. Near opaque Lovely nose, very ripe and charming, showing some tangy fruit seeds and bright soft raspberry; this has a coolness and a pleasing edge too. Rich on the attack, very ripe, juicy and rounded, with excellent intensity and some grip.
