In it's best spot. Maturity has given tertiary flavors of spice and mushroom while the fully mature cherry fruit broods in the background, Every sip gives the full compliment of the juxtaposition. Acid backbone is right at the line that it is noticeable but doesn't stand out. The finish is savory and goes for miles

Enjoying this on day 4. It got stashed in the wine cellar after I opened it a few days ago. Pale garnet color. Some browning at the edge. Very spicy with some nice forest floor notes. Some pine needles? Interesting. Crunchy cherry fruit. Plenty of verve on the mid palate. An excellent wine.

Tasted after 90 minutes of air. Wow. Tasted alongside 3 other very good Oregon/California Pinots. Linda, Paul, and I all agreed that the Longplay blew them all away. Spicy red violet floral notes on the nose. Medium garnet color. Savory red cherry fruit. Spice. A bit of forest floor. Medium plus acid provides great balance. The finish on this goes on and on. Absolutely beautiful wine. 100% Wadenswil aged in 25% new oak. Cloudy violet color. Lots of bright purple fruit, raspberry, finishing long. In balance with bright acidity. Very gulpable.

This is a very complex wine. Hard to pin down all of the flavors here. It keeps evolving on the palate. Very nice effort.

This was a quick pick, and let decant in bottle for an hour. Poured a glass and let sit for another 30. Its a cloudy crimson and ruby in the glass, light in swirl, light in legs. The nose is fruit-driven, darker, black tea notes, forest floor. It has a nice focus. The front starts cherry that brightens up to strawberry notes in the middle. Medium acidity. Tea and herbal nose, with hints of cherry. Pretty. It's fully integrated on the palate, there are no hard edges. It has a persistent black cherry, drippy fruit presence. It lacks a bit of lift, acidity is covered mostly by fruit. It persists on the finish. It's a very easy wine to drink.

Very round and fruity. Expressive sour cherries fruit. Spicy notes and good balance. Long finish. Tasted along side a 2010 Biggio Hamina Deux Vert, 2013 Evesham Wood Ilahe, and 2012 Seven of Hearts Special Reserve. The Longplay tied as my favorite wine along with the Evesham Wood.

One of our favorite stops in Oregon is at Longplay in Newberg. Excellent QPRs. Powerful red fruits/cherries on the palate. Very persistent. Enough tannins/stems to balance the fruit. Long finish.
