Last of 6+ bottles over the last five years. Decanted first, still needed time to open but one it did it was rich, dark and full bodied; chocolate, cherry, plenty of tannins and a wonderful smooth, long lasting finish. Wonderful!

Clear ruby in the light, looks more like a young pinot. Oak spice and raspberry nose. Medium bodied, with a load of cherries up front, pepper, sweet cranberries, nice tannins, a bit of heat, and a medium-plus finish. Fairly simple, and there might be some RS in there, but I still liked it.

It's a dry wine with a nice dark chocolate finish. Which is better for you than a dark chocolate dessert because sugar is evil according to my Cardiologist. Drink the wine and don't think about the chocolate, if your willpower will allow it. Good luck.

A nose of dark fruit and some spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red blend, with blueberry, blackberry, tea and spice on finish, an easy drinker. www.winelx.com

Unknown blend of Merlot, CS, Malbec, PV. (Oak Knoll AVA) Deep, fresh, more red than blue but young with compact rim. Fruit bomb of a wine all the way from olfactory sensation to gustatory expression. Smooth tannin, alcoholic perception in check despite its 14.9 abv, full bodied, medium to medium high acidity. Clearly this wine has seen a lot of shiny new oak but it blends in quite well. Or shall I say the fruit profile just overpowers anything else. …

Very nice nose of cedar and black berries. It still is a little disjointed, but with some bottle time should improve. It is initially very smooth but has a bit of bog mid-palate. Not particularly complex but still at this price point very good. I popped and poured through the vinturi. I should have given it a good decant. I will wait at least a year on my other bottles.

Rich, thick body and deep crimson color. Verrry noticeable legs. Nose of plum and cherry and slight oak. Taste very smooth and not very dry.Tastes of plum and blackberry . Prolonged finish is a slight bit bitter but would buy again. Overall a very nice blend.

Decanted 2 hrs, nice deep plum color, light cherry nose, med mouthfeel, med length finish with some drying tannins on tongue, although CH doesn't publish, I would est 70% +/- Merlot in Bordeaux blend, wife likes too, very nice QPR at $13 sale, Wine Enth and Sommelier Challenge both rated > 90 pts.
