Tempus Two Cabernet Sauvignon Pewter

Nose of Crème de cassis and kirsch, with Apple pie, vanilla, herbs. Same palate, with clear fresh blond tobacco, cinnamon, hint of vanilla. Dense and concentrated, this was great, with very good length.

Nearly ten years after the harvest, this wine is still vibrant. The very fruit-driven style has been remplaced by some more spiciness an herbacious notes. Cassis notes still present, but hints of mint, oak, cinnamon and vanilla on the nose. On the palate cassis, dark red fruits, very well-integrated oak, vanilla, spicy and peppery notes. Present, but softened tannins, good acidity. Great balance.
