Casaeda Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark fruits, prune, fig, anise and liquid smoke aromas. luxurious texture with soft relaxed tannins flavors of blackberry, with hint of truffle and a long cherry finish. 92% Cab and 8% Merlot.

Outstanding. Great fruit. A pleasure to drink. Can’t imagine it will get much better, but would guess it still has some life left.

Medium plus nose shows dark fruit, sweet spice, coffee ground, mocha, baking spice, fresh herbs. Palate is solid, Napa style shows, black fruit, sweet spice driven, cinnamon, dried vanilla, espresso, blackberry. Tasty profile, nice QPR.

A little better than my last bottle. This has nice cut to the fruit nice blue and red fruit mix. Rather subtle use of oak that just enhances the fruit. Really fresh enjoyable mid-weight Napa cab.

Solid mid-weight Napa cab. Has plenty of fruit but this is more of a structured, fresh, savory example. Tannins are rather mild compared to other '13s. Solid food friendly wine.
