Pierro Chardonnay Fire Gully

Wow, didn't expect to have a proper drinking Chardonnay from 2010 when Cellartracker gave it a deadline 6 years ago. This was still very much alive & kicking. Sweet notes on the nose - loads of pineapple, apple tart, melon, guava and mango. The palate IS dying down a bit, but not as much as I thought it would be. The acidity is moderate and nicely integrated with the alcohol and tropical fruit notes. Medium finish with some petroly notes …
