Kraftig sag med tertiære noter og kraftig alkohol. Prøvede til røget fisk, men den var for meget. På tredjedagen var den blevet mere acceptabel. Prøv næste gang til ost.

An explosion both in nose and mouth. Big notes from butter, popcorn and citrus fruits. Toasty oak and a long long taste. Acidity is on the low end as usual with the style but it exceeds what is needed. Delivers a lot of pleasure.

TOUR DE FRANCE : Caldo e maturo. Pera e frutti esotici. Molta frutta, cera e sorso untuoso. Vaniglia del legno nuovo molto presente, ma gestita con classe e precisione. Vino ben fatto, ma manca di freschezza e bevibilità. Dopo mezzo bicchiere sei stufo.

First wine ever from this famous producer. The nose is expensive oak, ripe stone fruits, honeyed white blossom Tea. On the palate, it is fleshy and opulent, but with bitter almond and racy grapefruit acidity at the core. As I knew there was a lot of Viognier in this southern cocktail and I feared this might be a real fruit and flower bomb, I was surprised to be able to pick out the unmistakable but subtle flavors of ripe rousanne. …
