Chatters spot on, but thought a bit better than ok, and kind of enjoyed the style, oak definitely showed, so there was that, take it or leave it. Maybe a bit more age helped.

Gambero Rosso Tasting (Doltone House, Sydney) : Polished oak, slightly dusty notes, sweet spice, a little sour cherry in support. Medium plus intensity acidity, sweet and sour cherry, a little fresh tobacco, floury textured tannins, medium plus length. Okay.
