A bit backwards and mean on opening. (Driving it into Manhattan did it no favors.) Pretty fruit emerged after an hour. Fine tertiary notes developing. Should be better if allowed to rest before opening. Penultimate bottle from old Diageo close out.

Crisp red fruit, sinewy with red cherry, sandalwood, and rose florals. Mouthfeel is light and clean and tannins resolved. This is at peak now.

Midweight, fine tannins, red fruit, a little sandalwood exotica. Takes a while to open. Good, but I think I jumped the gun slightly on this one. B/B+
