Wow, what a wine. 15 years old and still showing strong. A good friend Matthew Regan brought a bottle with him tonight in honor of our 15th year wedding anniversary. I took her on our first trip together while dating to Chateau Potelle and joined the wine club together. We have met some great friends over the years.

WIML93 Tasted non blind at a wine dinner. Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of thatch, pepper, berries and raspberries. Flavors of raspberries, berries and cherries. Medium to tart acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold. I'd drink.

aged extremely well. Still can tell this was a great big zin. Great, big, zin. One of the best old zins we’ve ever had. Cellar helps a lot.

a hint of funk that quickly cleared; sharp raspberry made clean by crisp acidity; surprisingly more fruit on day two; medium body and clearly not one of the 'big' zins-this and the acidity make it able to age gracefully

a bit of funky notes at the beginning blew off quickly, then very good cherry, vanilla, spice and acidity keep this fresh; an older style zin that i like better with food

Nose of tart fruit and cedar. Ripe plum fruit with mocha and chocolate on the mid-palate. Tangy, oaky finish.

A great zin. Zippy, structured, super smooth tannins mellowing nicely, red fruits, a hint of cedar. Drinking well now - probably won't wait around much longer for the other.
