Under screwcap. Concentrated nose of blackberry and raspberry, with hints of oak, ethanol and banana peel. The entry shows blackberry cordial, fresh raspberry, and notes of acid (lemon, cranberry). This is partly smoothed out by soft liquorice on the mid-palate, then there's a finish resembling high-proof bourbon. There's an interesting contrast (a clash, really) between the flavour and structure of this wine.
