A translucent amber hue in the glass with scents of smoke, aged wood, dried nectarine, roasted nuts, and ocean spray. The palate leads with a peak of brisk acidity, followed by mellow notes of oak, ripe banana, and home-made whole-wheat bread followed by a lingering hint of saline. This is such a lovely bottle of wine. Outstanding!!

Beautiful dry aromas of almonds, walnut and toasted hazelnuts with notes of dried apricot, honeycomb, dried leaves, dried orange zest and light notes of chamomile and jasmine. Dry on the palate and extremely smooth with complex flavors of roasted almonds, hazelnuts and walnut that mingle seamlessly with clove dried apricot, raw honeycomb, and traces of dried leaves and tobacco along with a hint of caramelized sugar. Long on the complex dry finish. A wonderful dry PX.

Decanter World Wine Awards Trophy Tasting (Wonder Bar, Selfridges) : Medium brown in colour this Sherry shows dried fruit, honey and mixed spice on the nose. The palate shows some sweetness - nuts and biscuity characters. Winner of dry Sherry over £10.
