Mega concentrated and intense black cherry is the fruit profile on the nose, alongside tar and pine needles. Really mouthwatering on the palette. Loads of concentration again. Tannin completely resolved. Tiny bit of sweetness. Cold charcoal on the finish. More and more smokiness showing up too. Can’t believe the concentration.

Stood up for two months. 6.5cm ullage. Considerable seepage. Saturated cork that broke upon opening. Slow oxidation for one hour. Decanted for sediment right before the first glass was poured. Surprisingly youthful with a deep ruby core fading to a pale garnet outer edge. A nose of tar, pine needles, aged balsamic, and black cherry that took me straight to Piedmont.
