Bottle #3.....and a pleasant surprise:from a different wine merchant, and clearly different provenance. On nose: the same delightful notes of pie crust, roasted apricot and walnuts. On palate: above noted flavours....however somewhat fresher and brighter in body weight and focus: with a colour closer to vibrant ring gold , than marmalade, Notes of charenton melon, meyer lemon, creme brulee and subtle herbal notes of coriander, displayed on a rich but taut base of light acidity....a gem....again, not a shellfish wine, …

Bottle #2....after 6 months. On nose and palate: consistent notes from the January review of bottle #1......a slight variation with leesy notes and softer acidity....still pleasurable....but drink now , if you have this vintage.

A highly unconventional New World version of a white Rhone blend: 45% Viognier, 45% Rousanne , 10% Marsanne. On nose: pie crust, roasted apricots, and walnuts. On palate: all of the above flavours enhanced , in addition Meyer lemon, stony minerals and a ghost of barley sugar.....when decanted for 1 hour , the colour suggested oxidation: orange marmalade in tone! However , this full bodied white has an underpinning of , clean acidity , as well as dry floral notes . …

From a local restaurant at $44 for the bottle. The color is like yellow highway paint. It's rich and honeyed. Unlike old vintages from the early 2000's this wine drinks great upon release. The nose is full apricots, melon, clove, and some some sweet citrus fruits. The palate full, rich, and little under the acidity level that I would prefer. None the less it's super enjoyable. It went well with a big double bone bork chop and a rare piece …

This wine is gone, not only past prime, but gone. Nearly all white wines IMO are made to be consumed within 4 years of month and year of harvest. This one got by us. Treana stopped making the Blanc, which we think is usually one of the better QPR Rhone whites in Cali, I contacted them and they restarted in 2018 and will be releasing shortly!

Bright gold in color, on the nose it shows apple, peach and pear. Follows up with more of the same on the palate. Fairly sweet and juicy. Interesting white blend and I enjoyed it

Great Cali version of a Rhone white blend. It is on it's way out, drink now...in its youth I would have given it a higher rating as we have in the past, a 89 or 90, but it is a drink now before you lose it. NO WAY THIS IS OR ANY VINTAGES HAVE EVER BEEN A 95 or 97 or 100...misuse of the CellarTracker rating scale.

FAT CITY! I love this wine… it’s fruity & very floral like guava paste (but not too sweet) and somewhere between marzipan and almond cream. A luxurious flavor collection of toasty butterscotch, peaches and honeysuckle with a very rich, oily texture that can only come from the white Rhone blending of Viognier, Marsanne & Roussanne. This is a work of art – but you should drink it now while still fresh and lively. Very decadent & generous; this represents an …

Cali White Blend. 45% Viognier, 45% Marsanne, and 10% Roussane. A light golden honey color. Nose of honey, orange peel, and honeysuckle. On the palate it's somewhat sweet. Honey, vanilla, tropical fruit, and white pepper. Packs a 14.5% abv.

Blend of Viognier (near 50%), Rousanne and Marsanne. Rich aged dark yellow color, full body, smooth with voluptuous stonefruit, butterscotch and floral aromas. Tiny herbaceous note. No bitter aftertaste. A real pleaser for the group. Have to order directly from the winery in Paso.

Either our bottle had a flaw or this wine is past its prime. I would like to think it's the former as we just tried it in the tasting room about a month ago.
