Everything ToniTony said almost 8 years ago and then some! Still holding beautifully on day 2.

- Purple color and has flavours of strawberry - Simply stunning. Very Burgundian in style. Supposedly passed its peak but far from it. Decanted prior to drinking. Delicate, perfumed, beautifully balanced. Strawberry an dried herbs. Earthy. Wonderful drink.

Continuing to hold up quite well at 7 years following harvest... This was our last bottle. Community Holdings says there are still 97 bottles out there... what do you all think?

This 2007 has held up very well. Chandon always invests effort and care in all of their still offerings. Easily a couple more years for this one, and glad that we have one bottle left for later.

glycerin, saccharin, cola, shoe polish (prob just unintegrated wood and alcohol);mineral; chalky cherry cola; soft and/or still closed; better on day 2 with cola and somewhat brighter fruit; marilyn liked it better than i did

enjoyed this pinot and would buy again. a bit bolder than typical pinots tend to be, but seemed like a decent food wine for a normal night's dinner.

Not impressed. This was the least favorite wine in our wine tasting group, scoring well below the other Pinot's in this price range. After tasting, this was the last bottle to be finished off. While it had a nice color, it fell short in the other categories if taste, aroma, body and finish. Not to say this isn't a good wine, but for the price you can do much better

I'm not a fan of Pinot Noir in general, but this was a pleasant surprise. Smooth, fruity, drinking well

Took a long time to open up; when it did, pretty standard Carneros strawberry jam and cherry nose. Same in the mouth w/ bittersweet raspberries and nice depth, without being heavy/extracted. Nicely oaked (although on first pour it seemed a touch overbearing) with good acidity leading through a relatively long finish. I'd like to try this again a few years down the line as I expect some nice tertiary characteristics to emerge. Drink now or hold. 89+ -JRS

Hmmm, on tasting this a few weeks ago it seemed like a great value pinot. Tonight it seems nice aromatically, yet one dimensional on the palate with some saccharin-cherry elements.
