Yellow. Mature, honeyed wax stoned pit fruits, a little petrol, balanced with a little sweetness, medium length. Fell apart pretty quickly. Probably should have drank earlier.

Medium yellow. Mature nose of green apples, slate, honey, pear. Palate is rich, tart, tactile, complex mineral finish. Medium length. Great bottle, in a great place but drink up.

Very soft; nose of citrus and apple, with a note of pineapple soft acids, nicely balanced; long aftertaste

Light yellow. Light nose of mineral, hay, shell, citrus and apple fruits with a hint of petrol. On the palate dry, moderate acidity, light body, a tactile intense and mineral mid-palate. More stone pit/yellow fruits on the slightly bitter finish. Medium length. This is really quite good. Went amazing with scallops in meyer lemon beurre blanc.

Pale yellow color with notes of apple, citrus, mineraal and a subtle petrol undertone. Well-balanced, with nice acidity and fruit tones.

Aromas of mineral, ash, peaches and dried apricots, all with a smoky undertone. More weight than I remembered, with flavors of apricot, pears and mineral, picking up a petrol quality on the finish.

Tasted blind. Aromas of petrol and smoke with rich fruit tones underneath. Peach and tropical fruit flavors on the palate, with a bit of petrol on the finish.

Poured at a retailer tasting by Steve Zraly of Chicago Wine Merchants. Steve is very passionate about Alsatian wines, and it shows when you taste with him. Light yellow color. Aromas of petrol and mineral lead to a fruit-filled palate. A touch of petrol follows through on the finish. Well-balanced and very tasty. I got the sense that with a little bit of air, the petrol aroma would soften to reveal more fruit tones. 89+

Once Upon a Vine XIII - New Orleans, LA by Martin Wine Cellar (Pavillion of Two Sisters) : Another reasonably decent and very drinkable Alsatian Riesling. Crisp and refreshing, very slightly off-dry, like a high alcohol Mosel Kabinett. Light greyish green in color with a medium body that is slightly supple and full of tart acidity. Smoky, petrol nose opens up to flowers and peach. Dry with lively acidity. A great complement to chicken and shrimp Jambalaya. Bought another to cellar.
