Cherry, leather and smoke (?) On the nose. Smooth tanins that are well balanced with nice acidity. Cherry and dark fruits continue all the way through the long finish. Drinking really well.

Seymour Wine Club Meeting 10/28/17 (Home of the Alapatt's) : Tasted blind. Aromas of rosewood, tar and flowers with more tar, cherry and earth on the palate. I guessed Chianti because I did not get big overwhelming tannins on this so figured it could not be Nebbiolo but I was wrong. Ended with a 25+ second finish. I did enjoy this wine but the group rated it 6th on the night.
