A very good intense, complex and fruity Malbec blend. A little pricey for Argentina (meaning that you can get equally good wines for somewhat less) but still a very good value by international standards. 18 months in French oak makes it good for oak-lovers (like me), and it has the varietals that stand up to that (Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat).

This wine is almost Portlike. Deep red, full and heavy mouthfeel, jammy and rich. Warm spice notes, long finish. Perfect for sipping on a cold night like this.

(American) Oak and alcohol on high level, somewhat exaggerated. Opens up in the glass, resulting in roundness. After 20-30 min it slightly fades. Nice wine though.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and black currant (cassis). It tastes like prune, raisin, medium toast and oak. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

young and tough with the tannat grape sticking out in the tannins. Taste is bold but lacks any real complexity and doesn't deserve a higher score at the moment.

Nice to compare to someone from out of Country...Yeh, Brazil! So in CAN - this is ~24$ (slight above average price) and popular line in MLCC. I've tried most of last few vintages and this rings true still. Yes, will hold and likely mature a little bit over next few years out till 2018+. Nose is dark inky fruit. Palate is med+ bodied with light and smoothish tannin/acid. Fruit is dark berry with smoke/ash on med/late palate. Complex (more adjectives …

Red blend - Malbec, Cab Sauv, and Tannat @14.5% alcohol. Intense red color, modest nose, but good red fruit taste. Still young and needs more time to mellow. Purchased in Vitoria Brazil - so lower cost compared to USA.
