Has a nice bit of character: bright cranberry/cherry, light dusting of stemmy tannin with sweetness entwined. Intriguing

The exact opposite of Tekstura’s Albariño, which we tasted the same evening: here the palate was a little straightforward compared to the intense dark cherry, wild florals and light spice of the bouquet. The taste is fruit forward but this is not overextracted — just young. Frankly it’s so intense that I have no idea how or if it will age. Well rounded and smooth. Dark fruits and berry. Cherry, blueberry with a bit cola. Mid to heavy in body and color.

Nose: Earthy red plum, sweet red berries dipped in honey. Palate: Well-integrated, light bitter oak treatment mixed with dark berries; raspberry liqueur, powdery tannins that carry some weight, which makes the fruit taste over-extracted a bit.

This is top tier stuff for my palette. Intensely fruit forward and smooth throughout. Warm, medium finish.
