Golden yellow in the glass. Vanilla aromas in the nose, with the smell of straw, apple, stone fruit, apricot and citrus. Soft fresh taste, creamy, mineral and yet spicy.

Aromas of Apple and almond (oil) in the nose. Also mineral tones. Fresh acids in the mouth and full of flavours like grapefruit.

This is more integrated than I remember. And better for it. Screamed out for some aged goat cheese.

This wine consists exclusively of the ancient regional race Romorantin, val de Loire. Butter and nuts in the nose. Hints of butter, almonds and fresh herbs in the nose. Dry wine, the palate is round and soft with delicious flavours of lemons and fresh grapes. Expressive long aftertaste.

Mineralig, zacht fris fruit, milde zuren. Complex karakter. Amandel en honing in de neus. 6 voor de prijs van 3. Romoratindruif, heel bijzonder.

Salty and minerally is right. Soft and creamy is right. As is pine needles. Don't know what more there is to say really- it works like I might expect a dish at Noma to work. I'm more than happy to drink this.

A winner, as in past years. I see a prior note describing this as minerally and salty, and that's right -- but also tart fruit. This is not an excessively dry wine. Definitely a summer sipper with some interest.
