Needs a bit of air. Opens a wee bit greenish, whiffs off, and a more juicy ptofile opens, a bit roasted Pinot-fruit appears. Certainly open for business, no signs of decline - drink (best) og hold for a few more years, if you are so inclined. #SP

Double decanted two night prior. The 2016 Rose Rock pours a pale ruby color with no staining of the tears. On the nose, effusive fresh strawberry, red flowers and mint. Medium structure. Unmistakably New World with a heavy dose of inspiration from Burgundy and while this has plenty of substance, it’s all about the fruit and super clean; almost cutesy, very demure. Balanced. Drink now but should drink well through 2031.

The QPR factors into the score here because this wine punches significantly above its price point. A beautiful bouquet of floral aromas on opening and a finish that lasts longer than wines at a similar price point. Drinking great right now.

Good QPR for sure. Well made PN, but a tad sweet and ripe for me. Still, varietally correct, and hard to beat at under $30. But I wish they had picked up the fruit a tad earlier. Should drink well for 4-5 more yrs.

Loved this. Oregon pinot shines again. Beautiful bouquet of earth superimposed by red fruit. I'm getting wet rocks, rose petal, and just ripened strawberries. My experience with this one is very different from others here, it seems. I found this to be rather primary and alcohol-forward. Yes, OK, there is some fruit there, but also an off-putting mushroomy funk that I cannot quite place.
