Enjoyed this wine tonight. Has evolved nicely. The fruit has mellowed with blackcurrant, dark plum, tobacco and dark chocolate. Firm tannins and medium acidity. A decent length finish as well. Improving and feels like it will continue to do so for a while.

For a Margaret River cabernet this is a little fruit forward. Having said that there is an almost Coonawarra type mint / eucalypt note to the wine. This provides texture and depth, and thus some balance. Not sure where this is going to go to be honest, but decent enough now.
