DuMOL, Estate Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast

Medium nose shows green pear, mushroom, lemon yogurt, light nutty tone. Palate more expressive, nicely round fruit with linear acid, limestone, tart feel, key lime pie, some lees tones (Cigare barrels). Currently young and needs time to show, but concentration is there.

First encounter with DuMol’s ’Estate Vineyard’ CH (v23, 13.5% ABV). Super-expressive, profound nose w citrus at the fore, followed by matchstick, flint, chalk, fine whiff of fresh peach, far, far away from buttery Napa CH. Tremendous concentration, vivid citric attack, lovely weight, v compelling, 60+ sec grip-lemony closing!

Light yellow, crisp, citrusy, beautiful

Pop and pour, which wasn't entirely fair - an hour or two of decant time might have been preferable. In the glass, slightly cloudy pale- to medium-yellow. On the nose, a burst of lemon, with oak and some faint hints of tropical fruit. On the palate, deep, almost oversaturated lemon, with the acid carrying through an otherwise smooth texture to a sharp, biting finish. delicious - very intense lemon curd; very laser like full piercing lemon with very intense pretty acidity - def minerality but also some oak - lots of great stuff in here

Best chardonnay I'l ever tried. Perfect balance, lots of fruit and not overoaked. 95+

A perfectly balanced Chard. Blossoms on the mid-palate. Medium plus acidity. Just a hint of oak. Lemon drop and apples. Lots of honey on the back end. A damn near perfect wine.

Medium nose more muted than Wester Reach. Palate matches with CA style but crisp, wet stone notes, white pear, sage. This seems more like a hold style vs the Wester Reach.
