Dried strawberry, leather, black olive, baking spices, licorice on the nose. Full bodied, lots of fruit, well integrated tannins. Lots of life for a 14 year old wine. Decant for sediment.

Purchased from the winery in Nov. 2016 so assuming excellent storage. Still very dark and opaque. Nose of dried blueberries and black olives. Lots of fruit on the palate, though tartness and tannins have mellowed. Drink now. Recommend decanting to removed sediment, but no need to let it breathe.
