13% alcohol. The cork is of medium length button vg quality. Lovely smell off the cork.The colour is quite translucent with noticeable fading at the edge. Lovely nose of redcurrant and cranberries with a definite high pitched note. The mouth is similar with a very acidic finish counterbalanced by classy mouthfeel and something close to forrest floor. This is probably the only Beaujolais for which I have several bottles of 2013 left; not sure where this will go from here. …

13% alcohol. Very good cork with no wine penetration. Medium colour. Good nose of red berries, mostly redcurrant. The mouth is good too, in a fragrant, rather fluid and high-pitched way; this is definitely at the lighter end of the scale (even for Beaujolais), but it is pretty successful in those terms. 13% alcohol. Good cork of medium density; minimal wine penetration. Lovely ruby colour. The nose has a wild quality with redcurrant in evidence. The mouth is one step above, juicy and fruity (redcurrant again as well as some floral tastes) with a fair bit of acidity, but not exaggeratedly so for the region. I have a feeling that this needs another year or two to be at its best. Enjoyable now, and a repeat purchase.

Fabulously drinkable

So enjoyable and really very elegant.

Concentrated dark gamay fruit. A little bit of oak on the nose. Very stony/mineral. Good balance and nice to drink today. Will last for many years.

Good intensity and concentration. Will definately improve with some additional time in bottle. 2013 continues to show very well in Beaujolais. Not as charming, or with the same drinkability, as the "vin nature"-gang in Beaujolais, but still a very solid wine with possibility for improvement.
