Zombie wines of North London (Terra Rossa) : In quite a nice place. Pretty dry. Lots of fruit (in particular, clementine), attractively floral, then a dry grippy finish like an orange wine.

Another bottle from the estate's library stock. Petrol on the nose, cold cream, well evolved but still lots of fruit. On the palate smooth and balanced, lovely acidity, almost oily, nice length. Likely close to its peak, excellent. 91-93

Glengarry Old Wines Dinner (Auckland, New Zealand) : Smoke and mineral nose with intense dried lime fruit and herbal quality. Tight, slightly closed and concentrated on the palate - this wine could do with a few more years in the cellar to fully resolve but is certainly drinking well now. This is a big dry 13% riesling with heaps of character.

I waited to long on this one, it should have been consumed 3-5 years ago.

Enjoyed with Jill and Kelly over Halloween 5. Yellow apple gold color. Mild aromas of petrol, green apple, kiwi and other tropical fruit. Also some interesting notes of a fresh sea breeze. Almost like Febreeze. Palate is highly acidic with balanced alcohol levels. Super tart Granny Smith Apple, Asian pear and honey on the palate. Beautiful finish. Very nice Austrian Riesling.
