Tenuta Bally & von Teufenstein Cabernet-Merlot

Started off a little tight. Opened up nicely. Full nose starting with a deep rich spice followed by a rewarding warm sweet scent of plums. Taste was a powered by red fruits restrained by a weak finish. I think the tannins held back the finish. A few more years in the cellar and this will be a very good wine.
