Quite pale. Nose of gentle forest floor and soft cherry. Aged well, elegant, rounded. A very good and elegant wine.

Far more robust than previous bottles. Balanced, rich and almost Shiraz in its body. Quite a surprise

Pinotpalooza (Carriageworks, Redfern) : Sweet spice, red over black berry, slight cherry, earthy, meaty. Juicy, savoury, slightly jubey fruit, softly textured burr, savoury underpin. Long. Good.

Gently fading cherry on the nose. Forest floor palate but also a touch of bitterness. Still good but now it’s just reached the other side of the hill.

Cherry nose and palate. Gentle but still good tannin structure. At its peak. A good wine

Quite pale, with a touch of brown on the edge. Cherry nose, with a touch of inviting mustiness. Palate is balanced, gentle, smooth. Drink now and over the next 1-2 years. A very good wine

Finishes a little short of medium. Decent fruit, good value wine. I’m not doing starjumps but it’s an enjoyable wine

375ml format. Text book pinot for price point. Red fruits upfront, plums and strawberry, with faint notes of oak. Some tertiary characteristics coming through, mushroom, truffle and a little forest floor. Not overly complex, finish a tad short of medium. Inoffensive though.
