Castel di Salve Lama Del Tenente Salento IGT

Dense black core, narrow garnet rim. Intense aromas and flavours of dark fruits, roasted kernels, clean earth and a touch of oak. On palate, medium acidity, moderate level of smooth tannins from both oak and grapes, alcohol seems higher than its declared 13.5%. Moderate in length and complexity, full bodied, nice balance of all components. Has aged and developed well. Perfectly ready at first pour.
