Deep dark red color with slight transparency in the edges. Ripe nose with lots of cassis, slightly sweet spiciness, some fruit jam and hints of baked salmon. Yes. Baked salmon. After awhile, some herbal notes and hints of licorice emerge. In the mouth the wine is rather powerful with lots of cassis, currant leaves, some spiciness and a tannic bite.
