This wine is still at its peak, contrary to the community drinking window below. Notes of cranberry...smooth and nicely acidic. Paired well with our chicken tacos. It's sister vintage went very well with our Christmas roast dinner.

Medium ruby red wine, light aromas of cherry, vanilla and licorice. Dry, low soft tannins, medium acid, medium- high alcohol, medium body, medium intense flavors of red cherry, currants an hint of vanilla, well balanced with a medium to long finish. Very good quality.

Very smooth and full of flavor but not overpowering. Low acidity made this easy to drink without food.

On the lighter side for a Napa. Medium plus acidity and vibrancy makes for an easy drinking food friendly wine.

Artesa: "This Limited Release wine is made in the classic style of a Left Bank Bordeaux and was sourced from several hillside and valley vineyards throughout Napa Valley. The wine offers aromas of blackberry, black currant and cassis. The concentrated flavors of plum, raspberry and Dutch cocoa linger on the palate with fine tannins that melt away into a long, luscious finish."

Vanilla nose, garnet color. Slight tartness on opening that develops into soft, baked fruit dessert flavors. Holds well in glass over time. Good tannins. One of the best.

Lovely nose with hint of vanilla. Balanced acids, full bodied, mouth filling, bit of oak, very long pleasant finish.

Mostly opaque core with ruby rim in the glass. The bouquet is complex, with fresh plum, blackberry, herb and notes of white mushroom. The palate brings more plum, black cherry and cinnamon. Acidity is medium and tannins are surprisingly light. Finishes medium-length, but the wine has a nice balance and a tasty, savory character. Not overly ripe.
