Brooding and alcoholic, with plenty of fruit and structure. Reminds me of the Clio in some respects. Just starting to come around after being closed for about a year. Don't rush to drink it. It will improve over the next 2 years and easily last 5 years. I think it will be a little more balanced and fruit forward with time.

PNP. While I liked my first glass, it was a little too extracted with air. Notes from PNP. Purple in the glass. Big nose - sweet cherry, blackberry, oak chips(?). Full body, medium acidity, low tannins and long finish - would never guess this was Grenache except it's from the makers of Alto Moncayo. If you like that wine, or Tres Picos, this would be a good purchase. Not a rebuy for me but I enjoyed my glass. Others tasting …
