Patel Cabernet Sauvignon Coombsville

Right out of the bottle there were menthol and blackberry aromas with flavors of blackberry, black cherry, and mint chocolate. As it opened it developed a ling finish with surprisingly fresh fruit.

Not as exciting for me as the ‘13 right now, although this is drinking very nicely. Cherries and plums and some wet stones. I would have liked more time to focus on this wine and perhaps a longer decant (not sure how long these had, maybe open bottle 1 hr before and 1 hr in glass). There is more potential here and I am probably under rating this because my focus was on the ‘13
