Domaine Christian Clerget Vosne-Romanée Les Violettes

Masculine and expressive aromas of smoke, earth, spice and anise along with very dark red fruits (which are predominant). The flavor profile has a bit lighter red fruit, this adds a nice intellectual tweak. Tannins are only a modest flavor comment. The finish is long and mineral in nature. It keeps the balance with the powerful flavors and aromas. Youthful but developed would be my age assessment.

Sweet fruit, very balanced and already delicious soft tannins.
