Fruit from Carneros. Aged almost entirely in stainless steel. Notes of pear and maybe honey, but nothing syrupy. This is my style of chardonnay - fresh on the palate and crisp on the finish.

The first impression is superb balance. A lot like a Burgundy with Napa style ripe upfront fruit. Quick hitting, penetrating, expressive, very fresh and lively, pineapple, peach and pear bathed in honey. Stainless steel clean tasting experience. Crisp, non malo balancing acid. Really soft and smooth for such a big mouth full of flavor.

Nose of Creamy oak, spice, cooked lemon, ginger, peach apricot. Palate is dry, medium acid, thick and fat, very ripe, notes of cooked citrus, oaked, creamy. Big, modern oak, glossy chard.

Rich creamy chardonnay that doesn't quite overdue it so sort of disappoints. Odd to want it bigger but if that is the kind of night the smell was suggesting half measures won't do. Oh, its $20.

Ljust gul. Blommigt frisk, ung Chard på nosen. Blommig, superung Chard med M- syror. Helt utan snickarglädje. Intensiv, jovars. Viss längd, jomenvisst. Dock ej balanserad. Inte vår kopp te öht. Förstår ej vad den skall vara bra för.
