Francois d'Allaines Saint-Aubin 1er Cru sur Gamay Blanc

Slightly disappointing - some citrus and butter on nose, palate pleasant but no depth. Kept too long?

2014 whites were promoted as v good. St Aubin for me has been a happy hunting ground for good value Burgs, white and red. Lemon and lime and biscuits on the nose, acidity a little tart initially but the wine opened up after an hour to give a more balanced mouthful. Competent but not v exciting. Slightly disappointing and I have had better simple Bourgogne from different producers. Zero premox so Imwill keep a little longer.
