von der Vogelwaide Frau Welt Blanc

Nose of quince and a hint of iron. Somewhat bitter and quite short. Mild acidity. Not great for the price.

Initially reserved, this wine benefits from ample aeration before revealing a fragrant, almost tropical bouquet with a touch of reduction and a hint of sea breeze. On the palate it is mouthfilling yet sleek, driven by lively acidity and tension. The finish shows the hallmark Grüner Veltliner spiciness with notes of white pepper. A saline edge makes it an excellent partner at the table.
