Enzo Boglietti Barolo Case Nere

Way too much tannin. It completely destroys the wine. Not good. It tasted much better when it was young. Compared with the reserva of the same vintage this is just so much less fun. I don‘t think this will improve with time.

I had 2007 before and this 2005 is way too aggressive on the mouth. Even if decanted 4 hours, it still had high tannins and acidity, although developing some secondary and tertiary flavours, so not sure it is too young, maybe the vintage is not good for this? Very much undecided on this wine, I prefer 2007 and this has not impressed me
