Honeysuckle, lemon zest, tangerine, and apricot. This wine is a bit tart on the palate with medium acidity. Not my favorite viognier, but still drinkable. Paired well with grilled salmon.

Solid varietal character of ripe pineapple, tutti fruity and gardenia florals.

Peculiar. Initial nose is sharp, with not-at-all sweet peach. Looking for honey, maybe a touch. Palate not round or fleshy, as are some Viogniers, but still with an oily mouthfeel. Slight bitter finish. Nose calms over time to almond or pistachio. Not what I expected, but interesting.

Random Cheap White from California : Medium straw color. Bright aromas of white peaches, kiwi, lemon zesty, mixed in with some yellow flowers and honey. Medium-bodied with a creamy, slightly oily texture but some moderate acid. White and canned peaches, some apricot and orange jam, the fruit is touched with honey, floral and olive oil notes, hints of seashell. Not too complex but well done. Not too floral or tropical, has some freshness and food-friendliness. Includes 15% Grenache Blanc.
