Profound, groundy and subtle red fruit. A bit too much oaked

Quite a pale Pinot. Very earthy with ripe fruit. Certainly German in style if the finish is a little short.

Quite an aged appearance; almost pale ruby certainly fading at the edges.%0d%0a%0d%0aNose is med + intensity and quite rich. Lots of layers - very earthy undertones with fresh raspberries/cherry. Old world with great ripeness.%0d%0a%0d%0aThe acidity really gives this wine some character. Crunchy fruit is delicious. The tannin is well integrated and sliky. Alcohol is in check. The earthiness carries through with a herby element giving it another dimension.%0d%0a%0d%0aGreat wine and amazing value considering where its from.
