Château d'Aydie Madiran

Very dark. Dark berries, vanilla and black pepper on the nose. No signs of age. Tannic and with high acidity.

Rich red purple in the glass,nose of black currants and blackberries. Tannins are resolving nicely making for a very pleasant drink. Another year or two and it will be prime.

Very dark. Rich nose with dark red fruit and vanilla, ripe tannins and good acidity.

Very dark, almost black to a thin rim. Nose is quite close but opens a little to give chocolates and winter fruits. The taste is blackcurrant and very fruits with chewy tannins and pronounced acidity, providing a very long finish. It's a food wine, great with a beef casserole, that is good now but will improve with time.
