Muted, not much on opening, but after an hour of decanting, developed nicely. Fruity nose, good body, great accompaniment to a hearty meal. I went back to the store and bought a bottle each of the 2013 and 2014 to taste side by side later in the year. It probably is fading--not as intense as you'd expect from 16.1 % alcohol, but still quite exquisite.

ZAP TRADE TASTING, fruity, berry nose, big body, heat and soft tannins, needs 3 years to calm down, tasty, should merit a try.

California appellated - everyday burger and pizza wine. And its really rich ripe fruit. Lots of power on that one. I'd call it big and jammy.
