Interesting and different, mainly the oily texture here, with soicy oak more felt in the finish than tasted. Aroma is honey, beeswax, flowers and a hint of pear. Palate brings an overripe quality that is on the verge of offputting, but then the spicyt woodiness hits. Cannot complain for a bargain bin pick.

Smells like a new world chard done in an old world style . Lots of lifted floral notes, beeswax, richness, jackfruit skins and pungency. A pretty big hitter in the robust sense but lacking some acidity.Fatty and oily. Interesting . Has character.

Tasted at Booze. Really rich, aromatic nose, with flowers and distinct peachy fruit. Lashings of buttery oak all round. Rich, ripe palate, buttery and very fat with sweet fruit, a big, rather alcohol laden finish and the slightest sprinkling of pepper. Not bad, but really in-your-face, oaky, modern style.

Pale gold colour. Weak grapey aromas. Peach, lemon, honey and vanilla on the palate. Prolonged length. Good.
