bright yellow with medium body. generous nose of ripe mango and fresh pineapple on wet rocks with crushed yellow blossoms. in the mouth a pithy base and citric acidity set the space for the tropical fruits to flow with subtlety yet only moderate complexity. good length with notable minerality. 14.2% AbV; blend of Viognier (~two thirds) and Roussanne (~one third); bottled some six months following malo.

The colour is a bit tired looking with a coppery tinge; fortunately this does not translate to the tasting. The nose is mellow with apricot and a suggestion of melon. Similar in the mouth but with excellent grip and acidity; good length as a result A really successful Northern Rhône white with a better balance than what is usually …

I was a bit disappointed in this white; it was blander than expected, with little to distinguish it. We generally love the wines form this winery—even though most are red—and want to try a white. Not sure I’d try another.

Another very good blanc from Vincent Paris. Bouquet of stone fruit, spring flowers and some chalky minerality. Medium bodied and drink animating this wine represents always a great value. It should be enjoyed over the first 5 years of its live, due to its high percentage of Viognier.
