Hint petrol, nice fruit on the nose. Palate is a tad too acidic. Very good, clean, but I like the german style of riesling better.

I actually liked this better than the more expensive 2004 GruVe Lamm. Another full bodied wine which seems to be the style at this estate. An excellent core of fruit with some red fruits thrown in. Good minerality. 91-93 points.

Dinner at Schloss Gobelsburg (Schloss Gobelsburg) : Fermented and matured in steel only. Most unusual nose for a Riesling (unfortunately I've not written down what made it unusual ). Lovely attack. Doesn't fill much, but a gorgeous medium weight Riesling with a nice light acidity.
