Dsg 05/2017 I consider Françoise Bedel as one of the artists of Pinot Meunier who has ensured that this grape variety has a place of its own in Champagne. Oxidative nose, mushroom, caramel, toasted, citrus and apple. On the palate, we are clearly on a mature champagne from a great Champagne house. Golden amber hue and fine mousse. Strong wiff of canned mushrooms to start which thankfully aired out quickly and turned into a beautiful complex champagne. Red apples, grilled citrus, some toffee and brioche. Glass: Gabriel Gold

Stunning bottle! Bruised red apples, brioche, toffee, a hint of liqourice and toasted nuts. Slight madeira notes and a balanced acidity. Drinking very well now and by far outshone the Ch Heidsieck BdB. Glass: Gabriel Gold

11y aged on lees, disgorged in 2017. This is a very good champagne, nutty bready from UST time in barriques. Majority Pinot Meunier brings some very pleasant red fruits aromas but the acidity is perfect.

This is Dom level complexity and profile. Has aged profoundly well. Highly recommend especially to compare with pricing of the big houses.

Consistent since last note. Growers champagne in the fruitdriven style. Perfect right now! Drink!

DG 12/2016 White chocolate, amontillado sherry, varnish, women’s perfume, quince, dates, raisins, ripe Valencian oranges, vanilla, a hint of pepper, some peppermint, caramelised sunflower seeds, acorns, caramel, aged cheese, good-quality butter, rye bread, concentrated meat reduction. Very creamy, you can really feel the cork ageing, very lively acidity that assures a very long life. 96pt

55% pinot meunier, 30% chardonnay and 15% pinot Mörkt gul i färgen. Mikroskopiska bubblor. I näsan är det höst, mogna äpplen och grillad citron. I munnen är det fullpackat med frukt. Tydliga odlar-vibbar hur man nu ska beskriva det. Äppelmust, honung, och nybakat bröd i kvadrat. Något nötigt och fin havsälta. Fullmoget men med en syra som strukturerar upp det fint.

11 är på jästfällningen har gett ett rikt och vinöst vin. Mörkt gyllenfärgat. Mycket små krämiga bubblor. Otroligt fruktigt med mustiga röd-mosiga äpplen, hög syra men samtidigt en honungslen sötma. sekundära aromer. Drack ur vanliga vinglas. Doftar rikt av must och höst. Som gyllene sommarkvällssol!

What suprised me a bit is that this one has 55% pinot meunier, 30% chardonnay and 15% pinot noir while the review of the same wine but vintage 2003 says 100% pinot meunier. So crafted year by year? Anyway an excellent champagne from a bio dynamic producer. Comlex with high acid and a bit Selosse in style but more taste of bread and "round". Also very personal taste so nothing of a copy.
