Courtesy of Aegean en route PAR > ATH. Always good to find these wines in a plane or lounge menu. This is a cool vintage red, very much pure and well made, solid fruit and almost felt like it didn’t want to talk to us yet and with a few more years should deliver a lot more. 89

Diamond Importers Greece Trip May 2025; 5/2/2025-5/11/2025 (Greece) : 50% Xino / 50% Syrah. Half second fill barrels, half third fill for 12m. This is juice that doesn’t go into Hedgehog or SMX. More floral expressing sites. An intro to Xino, cranberry up front, light tannin, generously medium bodied.
