Martin Family Vineyards Pinot Noir Russian River Valley

My fault, drank it too late. Still ok though.

Drank with cheese and bread. Really good.

Very enjoyable. Decent layers of different fruits, not just strawberries. None of the astringency that other Russian River pinots have.

Sweet nose, raspberry/garnet color, cherry and cola notes, moderate finish. We started drinking the wine immediately after opening the bottle, but should have allowed it to breath a bit. Over several hours the wine's complexity began to show. Initially, this wine tasted similar (strong cherry) to some of the delicate Zinfindels also coming out of the RRV, but the pinot noir character came through toward the end of the bottle.
