Petersons Tempranillo

Full of dark fruits, balanced acidity. Could have done with another year or so to soften further.

Winery note: Vibrant ruby red in colour with bright magenta Hues. Lifted, savoury, spicy and smoky. The wine displays fruit aromas of crushed sour cherries and Alpine strawberry. There are also nuances of white pepper, paprika and smoked meats. Ripe, savoury, juicy and dry. The fruit flavours are of overly ripe raspberry with hints of stewed rhubarb. The mid-palate shows spiced flavours of nutmeg and Clove with a slight nuttiness. The back palate is clean, dry, long and soft.
